    • Berkshire Hathaway (BRK/A, BRK/B) – Warren Buffett’s famous Berkshire annual shareholder meeting takes place this weekend in Omaha, Nebraska. Berkshire will give it’s latest quarter results, discuss the future of the conglomerate and (as always reported) have some fun at the same time (Buffett famously plays his favorite instrument, the ukulele). In recent years, the retirement of Buffett and his partner at Berkshire, Charlie Munger, has been a topic of speculation. During a Friday morning interview with Buffett friend and CNBC anchor, Becky Quick, she and notable investor (and also Buffett friend), Mario Gabelli, discussed why Buffett and Munger will be managing Berkshire for the next 10 years.
    • Alibaba (BABA) – Chinese stocks traded sharply higher Friday. China’s Hang Sang index rallied 10% following a report China’s “top leaders vowed to boost economic stimulus and [amid] speculation…about a possible easing of the continued crackdown on internet firms.” Alibaba shares were up 12% ahead of the opening bell.
    • Live Nation (LYV) – A play on augmented/virtual-reality concert/show experiences. A Thursday report suggested Live Nation announced a partnership with Snap (SNAP) for augmented reality shows.
    • Finch Therapeutics (FNCH) – One of Friday morning’s biggest winners. The company announced Thursday evening the removal of an FDA clinical hold on one of its drug candidates. The stock is a low-float name, with about 25 million shares in its float. Shares were up more than 60% in pre-market action.
    • BIO-Key (BKYI) – A play on biometric fingerprint technology. On Friday, the company announced it will highlight its technology for application in cybersecurity and privacy situations.
