- AMC Entertainment (AMC) – Shares were up 5% Tuesday morning following news the company will buy a 22% stake in Hycroft Mining (HYMC). AMC’s press release noted “The 71,000 acre Hycroft Mine in northern Nevada is one of North America’s largest development sites.” Shares of Hycroft were up 100% amid the news.
- GameStop (GME) – Will report quarterly results after market close on Thursday of this week. Analysts expect a gain of $0.84 per share on sales of about $2.2 billion.
- BioLife Solutions (BLFS) – A play on cold storage for biopharma products. The company announced Tuesday morning sales from its Freezers and Thaw Systems platform unit was expected to reach about $75 million during 2022.
- The Glimpse Group (VRAR) – A play on virtual and augmented reality for healthcare application. The company announced Tuesday a patent for “presenting a Simulated Reality Adaptive User Space.” The application could include virtual reality for mental health therapy.
- Joby Aviation (JOBY) – A play on electric aviation. The company Tuesday announced it began the fourth of five stages to receive Part 135 air carrier certificate from the Federal Aviation Admin.
