Las Vegas Sands (LVS) – A play on gambling in China. Casino stocks were higher Friday following a report one of China’s gaming centers, Macau, cut casino license tenure.
Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG) – Morgan Stanley upgraded the stock to Overweight Friday morning.
TPG (TPG) – An initial public offering (IPO) Thursday. Trader, Benzinga friend and CNBC contributor, Jon Najarian, said he received an allocation of TPG shares ahead of the IPO. Najarian said he was going to be holding TPG and didn’t have any plans to sell the stock.
Color Star Technology (CSCW) – A play on the metaverse. The company’s “Color World” entertainment metaverse platform will launch on Jan. 28, 2022.
Guardforce AI (GFAI) – A play on “robotics as a service.” The company announced the purchase of a robotics company focused on “AI robotic services which automate repetitive tasks, making them less labor intensive in the hospitality, healthcare, property management, and government sectors.”
