Daily Stock Ideas – December 14, 2021

- Peloton Interactive (PTON) – Shares were down 5% ahead of the open following a DigiTimes report the company halted development of new products for 2022.
- Coinbase (COIN) – ARK Invest’s Cathie Wood bought about 51,000 shares of Coinbase on Monday, for a total purchase of about $13 million.
- Alcoa (AA) – The stock was up about 3% following news the S&P Dow Jones Indices will add the Alcoa’s stock to the S&P MidCap 400, effective Monday, Dec. 20, 2021.
- SeaChange (SEAC) – Shares closed up nearly 130% on Monday following a mid-day Bloomberg report social video app Triller is in merger talks with SeaChange. Investors in the stock took profit Tuesday morning; shares were down about 19% ahead of the open.
- Samsara (IOT) – An IPO for this week, expected to open on Wednesday. The company describes itself as an Internet of Things provider enabling the digital transformation of physical operations.
