  • Daily Stock Ideas – November 9, 2021

    Today’s 5 Stock Ideas:

    • Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) – Shares rallied more than 10% on Monday amid a report Meta (the company soon to be formerly known as Facebook (FB)) will use AMD chips for its data centers. AMD shares were up another 2% Tuesday morning. A report Monday afternoon suggested Jim Cramer’s investment club recommended taking profits in AMD shares.
    • Hertz Global (HTZ) – An IPO expected for Tuesday. The issue priced at $29 per share. Nasdaq indicated Hertz shares will open after 10:20 a.m. EST.
    • Bed Bath & Beyond (BBBY) – Company CFO Arnal Gustavo disclosed he purchased 12,500 shares of Bed Bath & Beyond stock for a total investment of about $225,000. Several other Bed Bath & Beyond execs also disclosed purchases Monday evening.
    • Rivian (RIVN) – An IPO expected for Wednesday. Amazon (AMZN) currently holds about a 20% stake in Rivian; Ford (F) owns about a 12% stake. Rivian is an American electric vehicle automaker.
    • Vir Biotech (VIR) – The company is expected to deliver preliminary results from a Phase 1 study evaluating its vaccinal monoclonal antibody treatment for hepatitis B infection. The results will be given at an event Friday around 8 a.m. EST.
