    • Apple (AAPL) – A report Thursday suggested Apple changed the name of its virtual and augmented reality software from “realityOS” to “xrOS.” The new name stands for “extended reality,” implying Apple’s headset will encompass both virtual and augmented reality applications. Apple is expected to launch it’s extended reality headset sometime in 2023 and is being positioned as a competitor to Meta Platforms’ (META) virtual reality endeavors.
    • Spotify (SPOT) – Spotify users are getting excited as the company has unveiled this year’s Wrapped event, a feature which highlights listeners favorite artists and tracks of the year. While the event garners major viral attention around the web every year, Spotify shares don’t necessarily see an impact from the increased publicity.
    • Toll Brothers (TOL) – A play on the housing space. This homebuilder will report quarterly results on Tuesday of next week.
    • Deckers Outdoor (DECK) – The maker of UGG boots. Analysts have been very favorable on Deckers over the last few months. One of those bullish analysts, Wedbush’s Tom Nikic, will interview on Benzinga’s “Stock Market Movers” YouTube show Tuesday of next week. The interview will take place at 1:15 p.m. EST. Tom covers apparel and e-commerce as well as the footwear space.
    • TOP Ships (TOPS) – A play on the overseas shipping space and Friday morning’s biggest gainer. Shares were up 50% in pre-market action, adding on to a 20% gain Thursday. The Benzinga Pro newsdesk team did not see news to justify the recent move higher in this low-float name. The issue has about 3.5 million shares in its float.
