  • Swing Trade Idea – November 17, 2022

    • NVIDIA (NVDA) – Shares were down about 1% Thursday morning following mixed quarterly results and somewhat soft guidance. Tune into Benzinga’s daily Stocks To Watch podcast on Twitter around 9:30 a.m. EST to hear several pieces of analyst commentary following NVIDIA’s quarterly results. The podcast is also posted on Apple Podcasts and Spotify later in the morning.
    • Foot Locker (FL) – A play on upcoming earnings. Foot Locker will report quarterly results on Friday of this week.
    • 3M (MMM) – A value stock which is near 10-year lows. A report Wednesday morning suggested research shop Gordon Haskett heard a “large activist investor looks to be gobbling up 3M” shares. The stock closed lower on Wednesday amid the report.
    • Victoria’s Secret (VSCO) – A sympathy play following strong quarterly results out of Bath & Body Works (BBWI). Bath & Body Works shares were up nearly 20% in pre-market action Thursday.
    • Wing Stop (WING) – Analysts at sell-side firm Wedbush issued a research note Thursday morning following a recent call with Wing Stop management. The analysts said the call left them “incrementally more confident that WING is uniquely positioned to meaningfully outperform industry peers.”
