    • Walmart (WMT) – In the big-box retail space Wednesday morning, Target (TGT) shares were down 15% following mixed quarterly results and lowered guidance. An analyst at Telsey Advisory commented on the Target results and noted company management commentary that softer trends from the third quarter persisted into November “in contrast to Walmart which reported…fourth quarter was off to a good start.”
    • Caterpillar (CAT) – A play on a value stock and so-called cyclical smokestack company. Caterpillar shares have rallied more than 40% over the last month and were near a 52-week high Wednesday morning. Professional trader, Dennis Dick, shared his belief the flight to value stocks has been “overdone.”
    • Western Digital (WDC) – A play on the computer storage space. On Wednesday, a peer in the storage space, Micron (MU), cut its expected storage wafer starts by 20% versus last year.
    • Sportradar (SRAD) – A play on sports-betting technology. Shares were up 17% in pre-market action Wednesday following better-than-expected quarterly results and raised guidance.
    • Bit Digital (BTBT) – A play on bitcoin mining.
