Tesla (TSLA) – Analyst and long-time bear in Tesla, Gordon Johnson, issued a research note Tuesday morning which highlighted data from this week that showed weak Tesla sales in China. Johnson noted the concerning weekly sales were despite two recent price cuts for Tesla vehicles in China over the last month.
Best Buy (BBY) – Shares were up 9% in pre-market action following better-than-expected quarterly results and an update the company will have bought back about $1 billion in its shares during 2022.
SoFi Technologies (SOFI) – The stock closed Monday’s session down about 5% following a report a group of US Senators called on regulators to review SoFi’s crypto activities. The company responded and said it believes it has been compliant with the mandates of its bank license and laws.
TC BioPharm (TCBP) – Shares were up 13% Tuesday morning following news the company began dosing in its Phase 2b trial for its acute myeloid leukemia treatment candidate. The stock was one of the most-discussed names in Benzinga Pro’s lounge chat Tuesday morning. Traders noted the stocks “tiny” float; the issue has around 27 million shares in its float.
