Intel (INTC) – Shares have failed to move in sympathy with NVIDIA (NVDA) following NVIDIA’s quarterly miss, reported Wednesday evening. NVIDIA shares were down about 3% in pre-market action; Intel shares traded modestly higher.
Lennar (LEN) – A play on a less favorable housing market. Analysts at Bank Of America downgraded shares of Lennar to the equivalent of a sell rating Thursday morning. The homebuilder is expected to report quarterly results midway through September.
Uranium Energy (UEC) – Uranium-related stocks saw upside on Wednesday following a report Japan may shift back toward nuclear power. Benzinga mentor and expert trader, Anne-Marie Baiynd, described the news as “big” but noted that yesterday’s upside in the space might have been “very overdone.”
Vuzix (VUZI) – A play on augmented reality. The company released the second major product iteration of its augmented reality glasses, the Vuzix Blade 2 smart glasses. The glasses are used in commercial, industrial and medical application.
Longeveron (LGVN) – A play on a momentum stock with news. In an exclusive Benzinga Pro-first news item, Longeveron received an intent-to-grant notice from the European Patent Office for its Lomecel-B therapy. Shares were up 7% in pre-market action.
