Netflix (NFLX) – Will report quarterly results after market close Tuesday. As highlighted by a Benzinga article, market commentator and options expert Mike Khouw, on CNBC Monday, noted unusual activity in Netflix’s $100 and $150 put contracts. Khouw pointed out put activity outweighed call activity by more than 2 to 1.
Conoco Phillips (COP) – Shares were upgraded to a Buy rating by a Bank Of America analyst. A $134 price target was set by the analyst — a price level that suggests more than 55% potential upside in the stock.
Skechers USA (SKX) – The target of a short report by bearish research shop Spruce Point Capital. Spruce Point said Skechers’ China business has begun to slow and expects the company to experience “another episode of excess inventory.”
AST SpaceMobile (ASTS) – Following a recent delay in the launch timeline for the company’s BlueWalker 3 communications array satellite, AST CEO tweeted an image of the satellite with the caption “Getting BlueWalker 3 ready to leave Midland!.” The new launch window is expected in early to mid September.
United Maritime (USEA) – A continued favorite low-float stock to target by investors. Shares were up about 20% in the pre-market session Tuesday; the stock closed Monday’s session down nearly 60%.
