- Alibaba (BABA) – Shares down ~5% premarket. Shares of several Chinese stocks are trading lower amid a COVID-19 outbreak in the country which has caused some business operations so cease. Other stocks in the sector include: BIDU, JD, PDD, NIO.
- Nektar Therapeutics (NKTR) – Shares down ~52% premarket. The company’s Phase 3 PIVOT trial did not meet its primary endpoint.
- Academy Sports And Outdoors (ASO) – Shares up ~6.4% premarket. The company announced it would join the S&P SmallCap 600.
- Chevron (CVX) – Shares down ~2.6% premarket. Morgan Stanley downgraded the stock from Overweight to Equal-Weight. A pullback in oil prices has also weighed on the stock.
