Daily Trade Ideas – March 2, 2022
Today’s 5 Stock Ideas:
- Tesla (TSLA) – The stock held above a couple notable technical levels on Tuesday morning and afternoon around $850 and $855, respectively. Shares flirted with the $870 level Wednesday morning.
- Zoom Video Communications (ZM) – Named the PreMarket Prep stock of the day for Tuesday by PMP co host Joel Elconin.
- SunPower (SPWR) – A sympathy play following earnings out of peer in the solar space, First Solar (FSLR). While First Solar shares were down more than 10% Wednesday morning following worse-than-expected quarterly results Tuesday evening, shares of SunPower saw very light volume and price action in the pre-market session.
- Diana Shipping (DSX) – A play on continued violence in Ukraine and Russia. Diana is an overseas shipping company headquartered in Greece.
- Imperial Petroleum (IMPP) – A momentum play Wednesday morning. Shares have been extremely volatile over the last few weeks as traders have taken interest in small-cap, low-float energy and petroleum plays amid disruptions in oil supply related to the Russian aggression of Ukraine.
