Electric vehicle automakers have adopted an old strategy of the traditional auto manufacturers: reporting auto sales figures at the start of a new month.
- Tesla (TSLA) – The company reported Q4 deliveries over 308,000 vehicles and 2021 deliveries over 936,000 vehicles. Tesla did not specify what the quarter-over-quarter or year-over-year growth rates were.
- NIO (NIO) – Q4 deliveries totaled just over 25,000 units, up about 44% year over year.
- XPeng (XPEV) – Q4 vehicles delivered totaled just under 42,000 vehicles, up 222% from Q4 2020.
- ChargePoint (CHPT) – A play on electric vehicle charging.
- Volta (VLTA) – Another play on electric vehicle charging.
