Daily Stock Ideas – December 15, 2021
Today’s 5 Stock Ideas:
- Roblox (RBLX) – A play on the metaverse. Shares sold off Wednesday morning following November metrics from the company. Roblox said average daily active users were up 35% year over year but average bookings per daily active user were down about 8% year over year. Note: Roblox shares had rallied more than 40% over the last two months.
- ImmunityBio (IBRX) – A play on COVID-19 vaccine manufacturing in Africa. The company’s chairman on Tuesday tweeted “History made today! Launch of Vaccine Manufacturing in Botswana.”
- Allied Healthcare Products (AHPI) – A stock that has been sensitive to developments on facemask mandates related to COVID. Note that while this stock has moved with other facemask plays like Alpha Pro Tech (APT) and NovaBay (NBY), the Benzinga newsdesk has not been able to confirm that Allied has a traditional cloth facemask product. It’s respiratory product appears to be more like a portable ventilator.
- Helbiz (HLBZ) – A play on electric scooters. Shares closed up 10% on Tuesday following news of a collab with Facebook/Meta’s (FB) Workplace platform.
- Tekkorp Digital Acquisition Corp. (TEKK) – A Sky News report Tuesday suggested Caliente Interactive, in which online gambling company Playtech owns a 49% stake, is in talks for a $2.5 billion merger with Tekkorp Digital.
