Daily Stock Ideas – October 21
Today’s 5 Stock Ideas:
- Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) – A sympathy play ahead of earnings out of peer in the chip space, Intel (INTC). Intel will report quarterly results after market close on Thursday.
- Ford (F) – Named Benzinga’s “Chart of the Day” on Wednesday by Benzinga’s own Mark Putrino, of the Benzinga Trading School.
- Pinterest (PINS) -Shares rallied about 13% on Wednesday following a Bloomberg report PayPal (PYPL) is exploring the purchase of Pinterest. PayPal shares closed 5% lower on the report.
- Xiaobai Maimai (HX) – One of the most momentous stocks of this week. The stock was the third most-searched ticker on Benzinga Pro over the last 24 hours, behind Tesla (TSLA) and Pinterest. After the stock closed up nearly 100% on Wednesday, shares were up another 20% Thursday morning. The Benzinga newsdesk did not see company news to justify the move higher.
- Enfusion (ENFN) – An IPO for today. The company’s CEO, Thomas Kim, will interview on Benzinga’s “Power Hour” YouTube show on Thursday.
