| Today’s 5 Stock Ideas *Locust Walk Acquisition Corp. (LWAC) – In an exclusive Benzinga report, Locust Walk said it will merge with eFFECTOR Therapeutics and trade under ticker symbol “EFTR.” *Costco (COST) – Will report Q3 results after market close Thursday. Analysts expect EPS of $2.34 on sales of about $43.6 billion. *Ford Motor (F) – An analyst at RBC Capital upgraded the stock to Outperform and raised his price target to $17. The price target represented potential upside of about 20% from where the stock traded Thursday morning. *Velodyne Lidar (VLDR) – Shares moved higher Wednesday following a preview of electric vehicle manufacturer Lucid Motors’ Air luxury model. The company showed the vehicle will have more than 30 onboard sensors for autonomy. While Velodyne Lidar was not specifically named as a provider of the sensors for the Lucid car, traders have been actively playing any possibilities in the autonomy space. *Lizhi (LIZI) – One of the most-searched tickers on Benzinga Pro over the last 24 hours. Lizhi shares closed up nearly 60% on Wednesday. The Benzinga newsdesk did not see news that would justify the sharp move higher. Shares were down about 8% in pre-market action Thursday. |
