- Amazon.com (AMZN) – Shares were up 2% in pre-market action Friday and flirted with the $3,550 level. The company reported strong quarterly results and guidance Thursday afternoon. Despite a recent rumor Amazon management could announce a stock split, a split was not mentioned amid the earnings report.
- Pinterest (PINS) – The stock traded lower Friday morning in sympathy with Twitter (TWTR) following its Q1 earnings report and Q2 guidance. While Twitter shares traded down about 12%, shares of Pinterest traded down about 1.5% ahead of the open.
- Wah Fu Education (WAFU) – Stocks in the Chinese education space saw momentum Thursday. Interest in the space could continue Friday following a deal to go private by one of the players in the space, Tarena Education (TEDU).
- Pfizer (PFE) – Will report Q1 results before market open on Wednesday, May 4, 2021.
- ON Semiconductor (ON) – To publish quarterly earnings on Monday, May 3, before market open.
