- LAIX Inc. (LAIX) – Chinese momentum stocks moved higher Friday morning following a report a Chinese securities regulator approved the merging of two exchanges, Shenzhen’s main board and the small- to medium-enterprise board. Other Chinese momentum stocks moving included Sunland Technology (STG), RYB Education (RYB), Meten EdTechX (METX) and MOGU (MOGU).
- Six Flags (SIX) – Shares moved higher in late-day trade Thursday following a report California officials have sponsored a bill to reopen the state’s theme parks.
- Decarbonization Plus SPAC (DCRB) – The stock was up 19% following a report fuel-cell truck startup, Hyzon, is expected to merge with the SPAC.
- Clover Health Investments (CLOV) – Shares fell 12% following a Hindenburg Research short report on Thursday. The company responded Friday morning and said the SEC is now conducting an investigation on the company following the report.
- Spirit AeroSystems (SPR) – A play on space. On Wednesday, the company’s FMI subsidiary announced a contract with NASA.
